Looking over my old posts I found a broken link (among many) that I decided to track down.

The author of Deer Hunting with Jesus, Joe Bageant was a harsh but clear-eyed commenter on American life and politics until his death in 2011.

He was a hillbilly who wrote like his soul was on fire. His website has been moved to JoeBageant.org.
